Let's clear up some WeatherLink account terms that trip a lot of people up: End Subscription, Suspend, Cancel, and Terminate are not the same thing, and knowing the difference can save your historical weather data.
Here's the timeline once a subscription lapses:
- End Subscription (day 0): You get a 7-day grace period to keep using the service while you sort out payment.
- Suspend (7 days after): No access to current or historical data, but it's safely stored — pay up and it's yours again.
- Cancel (14 days after): Still no data access, some risk of data loss, and a reactivation fee applies to come back.
- Terminate (45 days after): Nothing is transmitted, nothing is accessible, and reactivating means calling customer support, possibly with a new SIM or modem board needed.
Don't let your data quietly slip away. If your WeatherLink subscription needs sorting out, reach out to APEXS before the clock runs out.
