Back in 2019, Duero, Bohol took a big step toward understanding its own weather, installing a Davis Vantage Vue Automated Weather Station (AWS), with Sir Benjamin playing a pivotal role in bringing the project to life.
The two-day installation combined hands-on setup with thorough training, so LGU Duero's own team could confidently run and maintain the system going forward. Sir Benjamin even personally ferried the technical team from the port to the installation site, a small gesture that said a lot about how much this project meant to the community.
The Vantage Vue now gives Duero real-time temperature and humidity readings, early signals for heatwaves, cold spells, fog, and dew, right when the LGU needs them most.
Looking back, it's proof that good weather data changes how a community plans. Ready to bring the same capability to your LGU? APEXS is here to help.
