Five barangays, five new sets of eyes on the sky. The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) of Dapitan just leveled up its early-warning game with five brand-new Davis weather stations.
Installed July 22–27, 2024 by our technical support specialist Jaymar Anasco, the stations now stand watch at the Dapitan CDRRMO OpCen, Burgos Sub Opcen, Guimputlan Sub Opcen, Dampalan Barangay Hall, and Baylimango Barangay Hall — giving the city real, local, real-time weather data instead of a single citywide guess.
The rollout came together through CDRRMO's own investment in the equipment and a partnership with a third-party early-warning contractor, with plenty of hands from CDRRMO staff along the way.
More stations, more coverage, faster warnings — that's the whole idea. If your LGU is ready for the same, APEXS is here to help you plan it out.
