Another town, another set of eyes on the sky. On May 19, 2022, we installed a Davis weather station for the LGU of Panitan, Capiz, another success made possible by the Rice Watch Action Network (RWAN).

Our technical support specialist Jaymar Anasco led the installation, pairing the new weather station with a soil moisture and temperature station so Panitan's agriculture office gets the full picture, sky and soil both. RWAN also provided a new computer processor and wide monitor so the LGU can display live forecasts drawn straight from their own data.

The setup runs on a WeatherLink USB data logger, connected to a computer that stays on 24/7, uploading real-time readings to the WeatherLink Cloud.

Farmers plan around the weather every single day — give them the data to plan smarter. APEXS can set your municipality up the same way.
