Details of WeatherLink Account: End Subscription, Suspend, Cancel, or Terminate

Dear valued consumers, we want to be clear about the differences between End Subscription, Suspend, Cancel, and Terminate

This is to advise you that if your weatherlink account has been suspended, you will have a several few days before it is terminated or gone. This stage will be detailed more below:


End Subscription

  • 7-day grace period

You will have a 7-day grace period to continue using the subscription after this. If you are unable to make a payment within 7 days of the end of your subscription. You will then enter the Suspended phase.


Suspend

  • 7 days after the subscription end date.
  • No access to current or historical data.
  • Data is stored on server and user receives stored data upon payment

This will give you 7 days after your subscription expires. You will not have access to any current or historical data. Your data is saved on the server, and the user obtains the stored data after payment.


Cancel

  • 14 days after the subscription end date
  • No access to current or historical data.
  • There may be data loss when storing data on server. User receives any stored data upon payment.
  • A reactivation fee charged to resume service
This will give you 14 days after your subscription expires. You will not be able to view current or historical data. When saving data on the server, there is a possibility of data loss. Only after payment can the user receive any saved data. To resume service, a reactivation fee is required.

Terminate

  • 45 days after the subscription end date
  • No data transmitted. No access to current or historical data.
  • Once terminated, users will need to call CSR to reactivate the device
  • A reactivation fee is required. A new SIM or modem board may be required.
  • Once reactivated, the paid subscription start date will be date of reactivation

This gives you 45 days following the subscription expiration date. There will be no data transmission from any device. You will not be able to view current or past data. Once the device has been deactivated, the user must contact a customer support representative to reactivate it. A reactivation cost  is required. A new SIM card or modem board may be needed. When reactivated, the paid subscription will begin on the date of reactivation.
